6 Reasons Why You Should Watch ‘The Family Man 2’!

6 Reasons Why You Should Watch ‘The Family Man 2’!

The clock is ticking, The Family Man Season 2 is now just 4 days away from its release and as usual fans and viewers are waiting impatiently for the season to drop and why won’t they wait? The Family Man without doubt is one of the most successful spy series to come out from India. With the first season being a super hit, people are expecting a lot from the second season too.

So, here’s a list of few things that can become your reason to watch the upcoming season:

The Mundane, Normal Life of Srikant Tiwari

So, when we say Srikant Tiwari, we immediately mean Manoj Bajpayee. In the trailer we saw Manoj Bajpayee joining a 9-5 desk job, which is not at all something that our Srikant is used to. So viewers can expect Srikant dissing and hating his job with all his might and the dialogues he will use for those will definitely be out of this world. To add to his problems, he comes across his boss in this company, who also seems to be weird, asking Srikant to not be a “minimum guy”. We all know minimum is the last thing he will be. But be ready to have bouts of laughter and share the pain with Srikant during these scenes.

The Problematic Marriage

Well, one of the first clips we see in the trailer is of Suchi and Srikant visiting a marriage counsellor to solve their marital issues. But looks like Srikant is not at all interested in the counselling, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to repair the marriage. There sure are problems this season and it looks like they will be some heavy ones, heavy enough for Suchi to call their marriage a “sham”. It will be interesting to see how Srikant manages to be the family man and also be the great spy he is.

What Happened In Lonavla Over What Happened In The Blast

Now, if you have watched the last season, you know Delhi was about to go down as there were major plans to destroy the city with a chemical plant blast but then, it wouldn’t be the series it is if it wasn’t left in a cliffhanger. So basically we don’t know what could have happened. On the other hand we see an awkward Suchi and Arvind returning from Lonavala. So now for the second season, we think we might get answers for both, but at the moment finding the answer for what happened in Lonavala feels more important. But definitely, we should be getting answers for both the cases here.

Samantha Akkineni.

Do we need to say anything about this factor now? We don’t think so. Ever since it was announced and ever since people got to know Samantha is in the season, people and fans have been wildly excited. The trailer shows her as the antagonist of the show but besides that she also seems to be the highlight of the upcoming season. We see her kicking ass, firing guns and literally being the badass, she is proving that her role will be nothing less than extraordinary

The Srikant-JK Relationship

Srikant and JK, besides everything else, are one of the topics of discussion that has brought about lots of memes in the social media scene. Their unique bond was perfectly displayed in the first season but now it seems the second season with them will be even more fun. While JK tells Srikant that he is going through major FOMO, Srikant does his part as he messes with him, while JK was introducing himself to a police officer. They are the epitome of work buddies and one even though they are pulling each other’s legs every time, both of them won’t leave each other alone, no matter how deadly the situation is.

The Family Man Goes International

Well, first of all we don’t really know if Srikant himself will be seen in international locations, but as the trailer suggested and just like Raj&DK mentioned in the interviews there were shoots that were held in the UK. Now, many might say, the earlier season too had international shots, but it has been clarified that whatever they had to shoot in Balochistan was apparently shot in various parts of Ladakh. So, now besides moving from Mumbai, to Chennai, we will see some European spy actions too.

These are merely just 6 points from us, to help you get excited and ready for the drop of the season but we know this season will be more than this. As the creators mentioned and as Manoj Bajpayee has said, we need to watch it first and then go ahead with our thoughts. With a terrific story, amazing cast and even amazing creators packed in, we are sure that this season will definitely be worth all our wait.

The new season drops on 4th of June on Amazon Prime Video. Before that, if you need to complete the first season, don’t worry, you still have enough time to complete the season. Go ahead and watch the first season, which is available on Prime Video.
