In July last year, there was a promise from one of the most important and sought-after filmmakers in India. His first-ever series was announced back in April 2022 and since then there has been no update so far. It is as if Prime Video forgot about but the fans have certainly not gotten over it. So the July promise said that the series is almost ready to be released and the statement came from the director himself.

We are talking about Gulkanda Tales by Rahi Anil Barve.
The series is highly awaited and it has a high budget. The director claimed that it is going to be much bigger and better than Tummbbad and it is a massive promise in itself. The question is, if 7 months have passed already then where is the series?
It must be in the late editing stage or who knows…ready to be released. In both cases, the silence is not the answer. Prime Video or Rahi Anil Barve must clarify the window in which we can expect Gulkanda Tales. That would also give us some sort of clarity on Pahaadpangida and Rakt Brahmand which are the two upcoming projects of Barve.
