Regardless, the feel-good family drama we are talking about is ‘Tu Hai Mera Sunday’. The film is available to stream on Netflix but it is free to watch on Disney+Hotstar.
The story revolves around a couple of friends who join together every Sunday to play football and spend some time together. But their weekly plan gets tanked unfortunately when football hits a social activist. She later decides to forbid people from playing football on the Juhu beach. And the story proceeds to want them to reunite.
It’s a very grounded representation of the busy lifestyle of millennials in Mumbai. The most attractive element of the film is the way friendship is portrayed in the film. Because it feels so real and unfiltered.
The film marks the debut of highly talented Barun Sobti and Avinash Tiwary who got praises for Asur and Laila Majnu respectively.
Other than them, it stars Shahana Goswami, Nakul Bhalla, Rasika Dugal, Vishal Malhotra, Jay Upadhyay, and more.
