Showtime has unveiled the trailer for the upcoming Paramount+ series, A Gentleman in Moscow, starring Ewan McGregor as the protagonist, Count Alexander Rostov.
The forthcoming Paramount+ project is the adaptation of Amor Towles’ 2016 novel, A Gentleman in Moscow. It revolves around Count Alexander Rostov (McGregor), who gets banished by a Soviet tribunal to spend the rest of his life in Hotel Metropol during the aftermath of the Russian Revolution. He is saved from an immediate execution but gets warned of painful death if he sets foot outside of the hotel’s territory. The longer he stays in the hotel, the more he discovers its hidden secrets.
Apart from Ewan McGregor, we see other talents like Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Leah Harvey in the latest trailer, playing Anna Urbanova and Marina Samarova, respectively. The rest of the show’s cast includes Johnny Harris, Paul Ready, Alexa Goodall, John Heffernan, and more.
A Gentleman in Moscow is a joint production of Lionsgate Television, PIN, and Popcorn Storm Pictures. It will premiere both on Paramount+ and Paramount on Showtime on March 29. Led by Ewan McGregor, the series is helmed by Sam Miller, best known for his directional work in shows like Luther, Marvel’s Luke Cage, Marvel’s Daredevil, Snowpiercer, Black Mirror, and more. Ben Vanstone has created the series. Indian viewers can watch the Paramount+ shows on Jio Cinema. Stay tuned for more updates. Check out the trailer below!
