Prolific Telugu film production banner Geetha Arts have just dropped the first look and title for their next film with Naga Chaitanya. The film, tentatively named NC 23 earlier, is called ‘Thandel’. The title of the movie refers to Naga Chaitanya’s character of a fisherman in Thandel, given that the team announced NC 23 as “Naga Chaitanya in and as ‘Thandel’.
The first look and title reveal of ‘Thandel’ came a day ahead of Naga Chaitanya’s birthday, which is tomorrow. Chaitanya Akkineni’s first look in Thandel is edgy and rugged, a far cry from his usual chocolate boy look in most of his films. His character too seems far less urbane than what he has played in his other movies. The Thandel first look shows him astride a boat in the middle of the sea, the scene enveloped in the darkness of the night.
Going by the first look of the film, Naga Chaitanya’s role in Thandel seems to be intense and edgy. No wonder then that the Telugu star is understandably excited and looking forward to playing the character, as per his social media post.
