As per media reports, a sequel of ‘The Harder They Fall‘ is in the works now. The movie is a western boxing noir film that gained much acclaim and was appreciated by critics and audiences at the time of its release in 2021. The movie was directed by Jeymes Samuel, and the story, screenplay is written by himself. It had an all black lead, and the characters were based on real cowboys, lawmen and outlaws. Netflix has not declared anything officially, but the director has said that the movie will come out soon.
The movie had a wonderful cast that included actors like Jonathan Majors, Idris Elba, Zazie Beetz, Regina King, Delroy Lindo, Lakeith Stanfield, RJ Cyler, Danielle Deadwyler.
The Harder They Fall tells the story of Nat Love, a fearsome outlaw, who gets to know that his enemy Rufus is getting out of the jail and he wants to seek him down and take revenge. He starts forming a team of allies, and puts together many ferocious people. He put together Jim Beckwourth, Bill Pickett, Stagecoach Mary and a surprising enemy turned ally in his team. On the other hand, Rufus too has a fearsome crew and awaits a dangerous fight.
The music of the film is composed by Jeymes Samuel, and the cinematography is handled by Mihai Mălaimare Jr. In the sequel, we might not get to see Jonathan Majors reprising his role, owing to his lawsuit. There might be some other actor in the role of Nat Love or it might not be there at all.
