Coming up soon on Netflix worldwide is a new spy thriller series, and quite a sophisticated one at that. It has all the elements that make a spy thriller a gripping watch – FBI agents, the White House, conspiracy theories, and more. The spy thriller we talk about is titled ‘The Night Agent‘; and the series hits Netflix on 23rd March, which is next Friday.
The series centres on an FBI agent, who has the job of monitoring an emergency line at the White House. One night, the FBI agent answers a call that plunges him into a deadly conspiracy involving a mole at the White House. The series is created by Shawn Ryan, based on the novel of the same name by Matthew Quirk. The series is directed by Seth Gordon and Mallicent Shelton.
‘The Night Agent’ stars Gabriel Basso as primary protagonist, FBI Agent Peter Sutherland. The series also stars Luciane Buchanan, Hong Chau, D. B. Woodside, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Eve Harlow, Phoenix Raei, Enrique Murciano, Sarah Desjardins, among others.
The official synopsis of ‘The Night Agent’ reads, “Low-level FBI agent, Peter Sutherland, works in the basement of the White House manning a phone that never rings–until the night it does–propelling him into a conspiracy that leads all the way to the Oval Office.”
The Night Agent premieres on Netflix worldwide on 23rd March. Have a look at the trailer of the series –
