In a court case that is called Argylls vs Argylls, the series follows a marital relationship that goes from bad to worse in a matter of a short time.
This in fact is a real story based on Margaret Campbell and her second husband Ian Campbell. Their divorce was extremely publicized and it was anything but a private matter. Scandalous photos and stories were used in court to prove oneself less bad than the other.
It is a mini-series with only 3 episodes but it contains one of the most dramatic and talked about divorce in the world.
In 2018, the makers released a series called A Very English Scandal that was based on the homosexual relationship between Jeremy Thrope and Norman Scott. It is available to stream on Zee5.
