Aadujeevitham or The Goat Life is one of the most important films of the year. Even if you let alone the remarkable box office success of the film, it is a landmark in the career of Prithviraj Sukumaran and the Malayalam Film Renaissance.
Regardless, the movie arrived on Netflix India after a long wait of months. The film was greatly anticipated by the people and the response was obvious. They are hailing the film, especially Prithviraj Sukumaran.
More than anything, The Goat Life is not an easy film to watch. It is a harrowing tale that can be very disturbing for a lot of people. But, the fact that the makers dedicated so much time and energy to telling this mediaeval-sounding story from the modern world is really commendable.
