Aamir Khan‘s Laal Singh Chaddha is ready to hit the theatres on August 11th. And his fans are craving for some updates about the upcoming Bollywood project. The official Instagram page of Aamir Khan Productions recently shared a post of the actor playing cricket on a terrace. Aamir appeared in front of the camera after playing a shot and said:
“28 ko main tum logo ko ek kahaani sunane wala hun (I am going to tell you a story on the 28th),” the actor said. Plus, Aamir asked if he had a chance to play in the IPL.
Aamir’s fanbase erupted on social media after seeing his cryptic post on Instagram. They strongly believe that ‘Mr Perfectionist’ will drop some crucial details about his forthcoming project on April 28th. He may dispatch even dispatch a teaser or a trailer of the movie on that date.
Laal Singh Chaddha will serve as the official remake of Tom Hanks’ iconic film, Forrest Gump. The filming commenced in October 2019. But multiple setbacks including the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and Aamir’s rib injury delayed the production work. Finally, the movie was wrapped up in September last year.
The Secret Superstar fame, Advait Chandan, has helmed Laal Singh Chaddha. On the other hand, Atul Kulkarni has adapted Eric Roth’s original story for the upcoming Bollywood remake. The trio of Paramount Pictures, Aamir Khan Productions, and Viacom18 Studios is functioning as the film’s production companies with the first one handling the distribution rights. Apart from the leading man, the movie stars Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya, Mona Singh, Manav Vij, and many more.
