The official teaser for the third season of ‘Aarya’ is out now. It was announced recently that the third season will be premiering on the 3rd of November this year.
The highly rated Hotstar special is a crime drama starring Sushmita Sen in the lead role. The first first season of the series premiered in 2020 and was a big hit. The show got critical acclamation as well as appreciation from the audiences. Aarya starred actors Chandrachur Singh, Namit Das, Ankur Bhatia, Vikas Kumar, Sugandha Garg and many others. The show was also nominated for the Emmys.
Created by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi, Aarya is an official adaptation of the Dutch series Penoza. The show tells the story of a middle aged woman who has to leave her peaceful life to ensure the safety of her family. Aarya Sareen, the lead character, joins a criminal gang after her husband is killed, to protect her kids. While ruling the gang, she also fights for revenge for her husband’s murder.
The new teaser looks good, with upbeat music and suitable visuals, it looks somewhat like a mix of a crime thriller and a revenge drama. It shows Aarya finding herself in trouble with new people for the sake of the safety of her children. Sushmita Sen has said, “This season explores the profound power of Aarya, as she strikes down her enemies and begins to create an empire of her own, while grappling the threats to her loved ones.”
Fans are excited for the return of the web series and there is anticipation for Sushmita Sen’s massive comeback in the role. The third season is directed by Ram Madhavani, the co-creator and co-producer of the show. Aarya Season 3 will come to Disney+Hotstar on the 3rd of November.
