Prakash Jha’s crime drama series, Aashram, has emerged as one of the biggest shows in the history of MX Player. Apart from entertaining the audience for free, the show is also responsible for giving a new direction to Bobby Deol’s sinking acting career. The on-screen Baba Nirala shocked the viewers with his transformation and performance after the show’s release. And he is coming back again with the upcoming Aashram Season 3!
MX Player recently dropped a ‘behind-the-scenes’ video of Aashram Season 3 on various social media platforms. It shows Bobby Deol’s preparation for the role of Baba Nirala and his methods of exploring the character and taking it to new heights.
Deol hailed Baba Nirala as megalomaniac. He has lost his mind because of his uncontrollable power hunger. But he also believes this scenario will make his character more interesting than ever before.
In the video, Bobby also revealed, “I really enjoyed playing my character this time, even more than last time, because you see him losing his control, his grip over what he is, and showing the real side of himself, of what he really wants.”
In addition to bestowing a preview of his character in Aashram Season 3, Bobby also unearthed the struggles he had to face while preparing himself for the show. He even disclosed the problems he faced while pronouncing pure Hindi words in his dialogues.
Season 3 will show Bobby Deol aka Baba Nirala doing whatever it takes to bend all the rules and has become a power-hungry maniac. He thinks that he is not a human being anymore. He is a God now. Viewers will see him transforming from Baba Nirala to Bhagwan Nirala in the forthcoming season. On the flip side, Pammi (Aaditi Pohankar) is desperate to take revenge on Baba. Will Ujagar Singh (Darshan Kumar) be able to deliver justice to Pammi and expose the Aashram for all its evil deeds?
