Trailer for Zee5’s popular cop series ‘Abhay 3’ is finally here and this time Kunal Kemmu will be seen battling dark forces led by an evil cult gang. Directed by Ken Ghosh, ‘Abhay 3’ will premiere only on Zee5 on 8th April, 2022 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
The trailer begins with Abhay Pratap Singh being called upon to take on a new twisted case where two dead bodies had been recovered within two days. While people believe it’s some animal attack, Abhay knows better.
During his investigation, Abhay finds out an infinity symbol drawn with the blood of the victim beside their bodies on both the crime scenes. He later gets hold of a note, probably from the criminal, that says that his work has just begun and the note was signed as Avatar Gatha.
Abhay now knows that this is something much sinister and more murders will happen soon if he doesn’t stop it. Given the circumstances Abhay realises that the killer is mentally unstable and is neither afraid of punishment nor death.
The trailer then shows a cult group that is on a mission and are waiting for the right time that has now arrived. The leader Mrityu (Vijay Raaz) believes he can show every suffering soul the path to eternal peace. His control over his followers is immense and he himself strongly believes in the power of soul and its liberation.
Realising something big is going to happen, Abhay finds out that the killer needs to be caught that very night. On the other hand, Mrityu knows Abhay is on his way to nab him but thinks that he is ignorant of what he is doing. What follows is a series of action packed, intense scenes with a lot going on.
Mystical dark forces take center stage in this new season of ‘Abhay’ where twisted beliefs are used to exploit people in unimaginable ways. The trailer kind of reminds of Voot Select’s ‘Asur’ where the killer took inspiration from mythology.
‘Abhay 3’ stars Kunal Kemmu as Abhay Pratap Singh, Vijay Raaz as Mrityu, Asha Negi as Sonam, Rahul Dev as Avtar, Tanuj Virwani as Kabir, Divya Agarwal as Harleen, Nidhi Singh as Khushboo and Vidya Malvade as Nidhi among others.
