Critically acclaimed film ‘Past Lives’ finally has an OTT release date in India. The heartwarming romantic drama will premiere on Lionsgate Play in India, on 13th October, 2023.
‘Past Lives’ had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, where it garnered accolades from critics and audiences alike. The film released in theatres in the US on 2nd June, to universal acclaim. Those who caught the film in the theatres appreciated its writing, direction, visual style, and lead performances.
The film stars Greta Lee, Teo Yoo, and John Magaro in lead roles. Past Lives is written and directed by Celine Song, in her directorial debut. The film follows the relationship between two childhood friends over the course of 24 years, as they contemplate their relationship when they grow apart to have different lives.
The official synopsis of Past Lives reads – “Nora and Hae Sung, two deeply connected childhood friends, are wrest apart after Nora’s family emigrates from South Korea. Decades later, they are reunited for one fateful week as they confront destiny, love and the choices that make a life”.
