DC thought it was hiring just an actor but he was no ordinary actor. He was Ezra Miller!
Then started a parade of problems and a series of delays. Disney is also falling victim to a similar problem but they are dealing with it smartly. Jonathan Majors, a major figure in the current phase of Marvel, is arrested. And, he was to play Kang in the 5th instalment of Avengers. In fact, his character was so strong that the film was titled Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
Disney has decided to change the name of the next Avengers movie. Leaving the original name it’s just going to be called “Avengers 5.” This change happened due to the arrest of Jonathan Majors.
Marvel Studios is rewriting the story because of this. It must be adding a huge budget pressure because writers charge big time and the AI is not creative yet.
They might make Kang’s part smaller or take him out completely. This decision came after people didn’t seem too excited about Kang in another Marvel movie called “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania.”
We don’t know yet what the new title for Avengers 5 will be. But it’s clear that Marvel is making big changes to their plans. They’ve been making changes to their movies lately, and this is just one more.
Fans are curious to see what Marvel will do without Kang in Avengers 5. We’ll probably find out the new title at a big event called D23 in August. But no matter what the name is, Avengers 5 is still set to come out on May 1, 2026. However, the conditions dictate that we might see some delays. So who can be the alternatives? There is nothing official about it but Disney could officially replace it with Doctor Doom or someone from the X- Men. Also, Thanos can return for a final showdown to show what he has got.
