Actora David Tennant and Lars Mikkelsen will reprise their roles in the new Mandalorian spin-off Ahsoka. The teaser for ‘Ahsoka‘ was released yesterday and fans are full of excitement about the release of the new Star Wars show. It will be coming out this August. Ahsoka’s trailer was launched in the SWCE or the Star Wars Celebrations Europe. The show is created by Dave Filoni and Jon Favreu for Disney+.
Lars Mikkelsen will be playing the role of Grand Admiral Thrawn. He had previously voiced the character of Thrawn in the animated series Star Wars: Rebels. The ruthless Thrawn became the commander when Governor Pryce of Lothal wanted a stronger commander to shut the rebels up.
David Tennant, on the other hand, will reprise his role as Huyang. Huyang came to the Star Wars world in The Clone Wars, where Yoda and Ahsoka take some younglings to the planet of Ilum. The actor of the famous Doctor Who series has previously voiced the character in the animated Star Wars series.
The series will have multiple directors for the episodes. David Filoni and Peter Ramsey will be directing some of them. The series features the character of Ahsoka Tano from The Mandalorian. The Mandalorian spin-off deals with the adventures of Tano. She along with Sabine Wren starts a search for fellow rebels like Ezra Bridger and they travel throughout the galaxy while the forces of the empire continuously search for themselves.
Rosario Dawson will be starring in the miniseries in the lead role and the show will have other actors like Ray Stevenson and Ivanna Sakhno and Eman Esfandi. David Tennant and Lars Mikkelsen’s joining the team will hype up the show even more than before.
