Adam Copeland has shared his thoughts about Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2. The former WWE superstar turned actor plays Ares, the arrogant god of war, in the Disney+ series. He expects the second season to explore his paternal traits and complicated relationship with his daughter, Clarisse, who likes to bully Percy.
In a recent interview with Screen Rant, Adam Copeland talked about his expectations from Season 2. He wants the next season to explore the dynamics between Ares and Clarisse. “I think it’d be fun to explore the relationship with Clarisse. I think that would be very cool. And just to see how that works when they’re together. How is that dynamic? I think all of those dynamics are fascinating.”
Ares (from Greek mythology) is considered the god of war, and one of Zeus’ children. In addition, he is among the Twelve Olympians. Copeland plays the character in Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. His take on Ares has received a positive response from both critics and viewers.
In addition, Copeland teased that Season 2 may explore the relationship between Percy and Poseidon, which is necessary given the former is Poseidon’s son. Furthermore, we have yet to watch these two characters together on our screens.
Created by Rick Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg, Percy Jackson and the Olympians stars Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Virginia Kull, Glynn Turman, Adam Copeland, and more. Stream all episodes on Disney+ Hotstar. Stay tuned for more updates.
