Indian actor Adarsh Gourav, who shot to international acclaim after his spellbinding act as Balram Halwai in this year’s Netflix film ‘The White Tiger’ co-starring Priyanka Chopra and Rajkummar Rao, is all set to star in another international project. It’s an Apple TV Plus anthology series titled ‘Extrapolations’ by Scott Z. Burns.
Besides Adarsh Gourav, the star-studded anthology ‘Extrapolations’ will also feature eminent performers of the likes of Academy award-winning actress Meryl Streep, ‘Game of Thrones’ star Kit Harington, and David Schwimmer of ‘Friends’ fame. Moreover, the series would also star Sienna Miller, Tahar Rahim, Matthew Rhys, Daveed Diggs, and Gemma Chan.
‘Extrapolations’ has been written, directed, and executive produced by Scott Z. Burns, who has previously lent his writing skills to acclaimed films such as Matt Damon starrer ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’, medical thriller ‘Contagion’, ‘The Informant!’, and ‘Side Effects’, besides also directing the political drama film ‘The Report’ starring Adam Driver.
The climate change-based anthology series ‘Extrapolations’ comprises eight interconnected episodes and revolves around how changes to the planet affect love, family, and work on a personal and a broader human level. The series would exhibit the need for survival on a global level in present circumstances.
In ‘Extrapolations’, Adarsh Gourav will reportedly essay the role of a driver. David Schwimmer will be seen in the role of a teenage daughter’s father, Sienna Miller as a marine biologist, Kit Harington as an industrial firm’s CEO, Tahar Rahim as a person suffering from memory loss, and Gemma Chan as a single mother and micro-finance banker. What role is Meryl Streep playing has not yet been disclosed.
Besides ‘Extrapolations’, Adarsh Gourav, who made his acting debut in ‘My Name is Khan’, will next be seen in ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ alongside Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
