After “Dostana 2”, “Freddie” Kartik Aaryan Loses Yet Another Movie?

After “Dostana 2”, “Freddie” Kartik Aaryan Loses Yet Another Movie?

It has been a few days since the news of Kartik Aaryan being ousted from Red Chillies Entertainment’s upcoming “Freddie” came along. Fans were already unhappy and shocked as he had already lost one more project before this, which was Karan Johar’s “Dostana 2”. Now with two films out of hand, reports have come in that Kartik Aaryan might have lost yet another potential movie.

Yes, as per the buzz, Kartik Aaryan has lost his 3rd movie after losing “Dostana 2” and “Freddie”. The 3rd movie which was reportedly Aanand L. Rai’s untitled movie didn’t even start its shoot or pre-production. It is being said that the makers have refused to go ahead with Kartik Aaryan, after everything was discussed and the only thing left for him to do was officially sign the contract.

Interestingly, it is being mentioned that Aanand L. Rai might have gone ahead with another actor, without even informing Kartik Aaryan. Reports mention that the director is now considering working with Ayushmann Khurrana, with whom he has already worked in “Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan” and “Shubh Mangal Savdhaan”.

The project in which Kartik Aaryan was in advanced talks with Aanand L. Rai was supposed to be a gangster film. Not much details are known about it at the moment, but it is being said to be of that particular genre and is being directed by Rai’s assistant director and produced by Rai’s Color Yellow Production.

Ananda L. Rai, though, has somewhat clarified this news, as there was news that Kartik Aaryan has been visiting his production house frequently. He has mentioned that being a production house, there are always actors, directors going in and out of the offices and spotting Aaryan isn’t much of a big deal. He has also talked about that he might have a project that he wishes to do with Ayushmann Khurrana.

It is being mentioned that the decision of Karan Johar removing him from the project might have also influenced others in the industry. Since the movie was not officially in works and Kartik Aaryan didn’t sign the contract, the makers moving on to a different actor is not a new trend. This has happened before and it is considered very normal, since most of the time projects fall out with that particular actor. But, now given the situation Kartik Aaryan is in, with 2 movies out of his hand, this definitely was meant to become news.

Many also mentioned earlier that with Karan Johar removing him from the project, it was predicted that this might become one of his biggest losses, since Karan is seen as someone very influential in the industry. Now, it looks like those might actually be true.

Kartik Aaryan at the moment has Anees Bazmee’s “Bhool Bhulaiya 2”, Ram Madhvani’s “Dhamaka” and “Luki Chuppi” sequel in the works and are slated to release soon.
