After Ram Charan, Rana Joins The OTT Bandwagon

Not so long ago, Ram Charan was officially announced as Disney+ Hotstar’s brand ambassador. He even shot an ad for Disney+ Hotstar and the same was unveiled recently. Now, it is heard that Rana Daggubati has also joined the OTT bandwagon. He has come on board for Sony Liv’s promotional campaign. He has signed a big-money deal with the OTT platform and he will be projected as the face of Sony Liv, much like the way Diseny+ Hotstar has been projecting Ram Charan.

Rana will be headlining Sony Liv’s promotional campaign henceforth. He is set to feature in an ad for the OTT platform. An official announcement on the same will be out in the near future.

Sony Liv has been rolling out a lot of original Telugu content of late and the OTT platform wishes to up the ante by roping in Rana for their ad campaign. The platform intends to expand its viewer base in the twin Telugu states.

On a related note, Sony Liv is set to stream its next direct to digital Telugu OTT release, Family Drama from the 29th of October. The crime comedy has Suhas of Colour Photo fame in the lead role.

As for Rana, he is set to venture into OTT with his maiden web series, Rana Naidu which will be made available for streaming on Netflix. The series is an adaption of Ray Donovan and it will feature Rana and Venkatesh in the lead roles. More details are to follow.
