In November last year on the Disney Plus Day, Marvel had officially confirmed WandaVision’s dark-comedy Disney+ spin-off show titled ‘Agatha: House of Harkness’. The character of Agatha Harkness aka Agnes was portrayed by Kathryn Hahn who made an appearance in WandaVision as the apparently friendly neighbor of Wanda Maximoff and Vision.
When ‘Agatha: House of Harkness’ was first announced, no release date was mentioned at that time – it was, in fact, teased with just a ‘Coming Soon’ sub-script. But now, as per a recent update, the show has received a release date window for streaming on the Disney Plus OTT platform. ‘Agatha: House of Harkness’ is expected to start streaming sometime either in the second half of 2023 or in the first half of 2024.
‘Agatha: House of Harkness’ is set to kick off its production schedule later this year in the month of October. For the spin-off show, Kathryn Hahn will reprise the titular role of the powerful witch who practices dark magic. However, like most Marvel projects, the precise plot details are being kept under the wraps for obvious reasons.
While there is still time for Kathryn Hahn’s ‘Agatha: House of Harkness’ to make its debut on the Disney+ streaming service, there are a slew of eagerly anticipated Marvel films and series lined up for their release before the WandaVision spin-off arrives on your screens.
On the movies’ front, MCU Phase Four’s forthcoming titles include ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ starring Chris Hemsworth (8th July 2022), Ryan Coogler’s ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ (11th November 2022), ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ (17th February 2023), ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ (5th May 2023), and ‘The Marvels’ (28th July 2023).
And before ‘Agatha: House of Harkness’, Marvel’s upcoming streaming series slate includes ‘Ms. Marvel’ (8th June 2022), and ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’ (17th August 2022), etc. Stay tuned to Binged for the latest updates on ‘Agatha: House of Harkness’ series.
