The teaser for Akhil Akkineni’s ‘Agent’, the much awaited upcoming Telugu language spy action thriller is here and it’s a swag packed action entertainer. Helmed by Surender Reddy, ‘Agent’ is all set to release in theatres in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam on 12th August, 2022.
‘Agent’ teaser begins with Mammootty giving the description of the most notorious and ruthless patriot, whose unpredictability makes him almost uncatchable. While there’s no witness, no forensic evidence to help capture him, his death note has already been written.
The next thing we see in the teaser is the swag and style filled entry of long haired Akhil Akkineni who takes the viewers on a wild ride with his flair filled killing spree. The bulked up star is seen in a raw avatar screaming out cuss words towards the end of the teaser.
‘Agent’ is a Telugu language spy thriller film starring Akhil Akkineni, Malayalam superstar Mammootty and Sakshi Vaidya in pivotal roles. Akkineni’s role in the film is said to be inspired by the character of Jason Bourne from the American-German film series ‘Bourne’. The film has a screenplay and direction by Surender Reddy with a story from Vakkantham Vamsi.
Ramabrahmam Sunkara has produced ‘Agent’ with Ajay Sunkara and Pathi Deepa Reddy serving as co-producer. Rasool Ellore handles the cinematography for the film while editing is done by Naveen Nooli.
The production companies behind ‘Agent’ are AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema. ‘Agent’ will release in cinemas in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam on 12th August, 2022.
