Disney+Hotstar is all set to expand the regional slate of the platform more now. Very recently it announced the Malayalam original ‘Nagendran’s Honeymoons’ and now it comes with a new Telugu show. The show is titled ‘Agnisakshi’ and it will most probably be a romantic thriller.
The lead role will be played by Ambati Arjun of Big Boss fame and Aishwarya Pisse. The first teaser for the show is revealed and it features Ambati Arjun in a furious action hero avatar, while Aishwarya plays a sassy but simple girl looking for love. The plot details is not clear yet, but hopefully the trailer will soon be revealed.
After Big Boss, director Buchi Babu Sana roped Arjun in to play a key role in a Ram Charan film, which is yet to release. This Disney+Hotstar project is indeed a big one for the actor.
The recent series ‘Yakshini’ too came out a few days ago and it gathered deent views on the platform. These few shows are like bridges between daily soaps and high budget web shows. They take simple concepts, low budgets and high octane drama. No doubt there is a huge audience for this too.
‘Agnisakshi’ premieres on the 12th of July this year.
