Wonder how the comparison arises between an international OTT Major and a Regional OTT Platform? Aha Video is doing a better job than Netflix at least in the dubbing films segment.
Into the details, Taapsee’s Dilruba Haseena recently skipped its theatrical release and released directly on Netflix the last week. Along with the Original Hindi version, the movie is also available in Telugu, Tamil, and English. The Telugu dubbing work of the film is too shoddy with the OTT Major did not even care to dub the songs into Telugu. The Hindi songs were used as it is for the Telugu version.
In a Complete contrast, Aha Video has dubbed Tamil film, Jivvi into Telugu with the same title. The movie is flawlessly dubbed into Telugu even the songs are excellent. The songs are not like how we see the half hearted efforts in dubbing films and give us like a Original feel.
Jivvi is not even a new release and is a film of 2019. These are little things but will go long way on the impression of the audience about the seriousness of the OTT players.
