The trailer of Aha Video‘s ING – In The Name of God web series is out the other day and it has got a superb response for its intense theme of Greed, Lust, and Vengeance. It looks like there is a controversy that happened behind the scenes even before the promotions began. Aha founder Allu Aravind and Suresh Krissna, the presenter of the web series are at loggerheads about the web series title.
With all his experience, Allu Aravind is not keen on having ‘God’ for the show which may hurt the sentiments of some religious groups. On the other side, Suresh Krissna was hellbent on having the same title as he felt the title has some very symbolic meaning attached to it and would go well with the story.
It was more like a tussle between experience and creative opinion. After some heated discussions, the veteran director finally had his way and the web series is named ‘ING – In The Name of God’. It has to be seen how it pans out for the film going forward!
ING – In The Name of God has Nandini Rai and Priyadarshi in crucial roles. Aha Video is yet to announce the release plan of this web series!
