While the above might make you think this is related to Ajay Devgn’s much awaited direct-to-OTT film ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’ release date announcement, let us tell you it’s not! Infact, it is most probably regarding his latest web series that is reportedly the Indian remake of the popular British television show ‘Luther’ that starred Idris Alba in the lead.
We say so because the same post as Ajay Devgn‘s was shared by Applause Entertainment, the production company which is said to be jountly producing ‘Luther’ remake with BBC India.

‘Luther’ is a popular British television show starring ‘Concrete Cowboy’ actor Idris Alba. It is psychological crime drama which follows a near-genius, dedicated police officer, and spanned five successful seasons which aired from 2010 to 2019. The Indian version is supposed to be helmed by ‘Ferrari ki Sawaari’ director Rajesh Mapuskar.
While neither Ajay nor Disney+Hotstar has confirmed anything officially on the ‘Luther’ remake, with Applause Entertainment coming into scene it is pretty clear that the big announcement coming tomorrow isn’t about the long awaited ‘Bhuj:The Pride Of India’.
