Ajay Devgn’s ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior‘ was the biggest box office hit of 2020. Ajay Devgn produced the movie and played the titular role of Tanhaji Kaloji Malusare, partnering with wife Kajol after a long interval.
As per media reports, now the actor is planning to extend the story further and continue the franchise of ‘The Unsung Warrior’. There will be movies and web series on various people who have sacrificed their lives for some great cause or have tremendous achievements for the sake of the country. Ajay Devgn has confirmed that currently there are two or three scripts that are under works, and each one of them tell the story of some hero who is known very well known among masses. A big budget film cannot always capture the depths and dimensions of a larger than life character who actually existed. So, there are plans of making web series on such Unsung heroes too, so that audiences relate even more with their conflicts and stories.
Even Tanhaji, a character of such a cinematic historical background was not known to many people before the release of the film. Ajay Devgn will be doing a great job as a producer if he plans to cover more original historical stories under his banner.
Ajay’s last movie ‘Thank God’ did not work quite well at the box office, but ‘Drishyam 2’ is impressing audiences in great numbers. After the roaring success of Drisham 2, the actor will next be seen in the official remake of ‘Kaithi’ which is titled ‘Bholaa’. He also plans to extend the cinematic universe of Bholaa just like Lokesh Kannagaraj is doing with ‘Kaithi’ and ‘Vikram’.
