After delivering a blockbuster with their most recent film ‘Singham Again’, Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty are all set to join forces once agin for next instalment of their another popular franchise ‘Golmaal’.
‘Golmaal 5’ will be the fifth part of the series which started in 2006 with ‘Golmaal: Fun Unlimited’ followed by ‘Golmaal Returns’ (2008), ‘Golmaal 3’(2010) and ‘Golmaal Again’ (2017). Other than these main films, ‘Cirkus’ (2022) starring Ranveer Singh was also a spin-off of this film series. There’s also an animated version titled ‘Golmaal Jr.’ of the film.
This certainly raises the excitement amongst the fans who love this screwball comedy franchise. All the previous four films in ‘Golmaal’ franchise have done great business at the box office and the same will be expected from Golmaal 5 as well.
On the other hand many are of the belief that both Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty should try their hands at something new instead of banking only on the cop universe and Golmaal. Though both these franchises have been very successful for the actor-director duo they now seem to lack freshness and moreover feel a bit overdone.
