This morning, Ajay Devgn revealed his first look as ‘Bholaa’ from his upcoming movie of the same name. The first look teaser was accompanied with the stunning official poster of the film. ‘Bholaa’, as most people know, is a remake of the Tamil film, ‘Kaithi’. ‘Bholaa’ hits theatres across India on 30th March, 2023. Incidentally, the film will also release in 3D in theatres.
The short ‘Bholaa’ motion poster gives us the first proper glimpse of Ajay Devgn’s rugged character in the film. The first teaser that had released in November showed us just a fleeting, blurred glimpse of Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa, focusing more on the powerful stride of the character than his look. The new teaser of ‘Bholaa’ introduces Ajay Devgn in a look never seen before on the actor. Wild, matted hair and unruly features complete his look of a hardened jailbird. The thrilling background music in the teaser adds to the edgy feel of the video. Ravi Basrur, music composer of the KGF film series, has composed the music of ‘Bholaa’.
The story of Bholaa centres on a prisoner, Bholaa, released from jail after 10 years, who leaves for home to meet his young daughter. But he’s re-arrested midway, and must endure a journey full of dangers and death, in order to survive. Tamil actor Karthi had played the character in the Tamil original, ‘Kaithi’, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Bholaa is produced and directed by Ajay Devgn. T-Series, S. R. Prabhu’s DreamWorks Pictures, and Reliance Entertainment are joint producers. Kumar Mangat Pathak’s Panorama Studios are co-producers of the film. Lokesh Kanagaraj, director of the original Kaithi, is credited with the story for ‘Bholaa’.
