Finally after finishing up his last project, Ajith Kumar has joined the blockbuster cast of the upcoming movie, tentatively titled as “AK61”, joining the trio Valimai, H Vinoth and Boney Kapoor. Latest reports says that the filming has started in Hyderabad’s Ramoji Rao Film City.
A gigantic set of Mount Road has been erected in the studio. The shooting will proceed for two months at a stretch and is expected to have a theatrical release on this upcoming Diwali. This action-thriller movie marks the third collaboration between the trio after “Nerkonda Paarvai” and “Valimai”.
The plot is based around a bank, what happens around its circumference and how Ajith’s character is entangled in it. Ajith will be playing the character of a college professor and reportedly his character is very interesting, basking in the shades of grey. His character is an amalgamation of class and mass that will have a profound effect on the audiences.
Female leading lady isn’t confirmed yet, with reports claiming Tabu and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have been approached for the lead has been debunked. Latest reports suggest that makers are in talks with one of the leading South actress. The confirmation will be made within this week.
AK 61 is produced by Boney Kapoor‘s home banner Bay View Projects LLP in association with Zee Studios.
