Actor Ajith Kumar, better known as Thala Ajith to his fans, completes 29 years in the film industry; which makes it the perfect time to drop a treat for his fans. Sony Music and Valimai producers Zee Studios and Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP today decided to quench the thirst of Ajith Kumar and his upcoming film Valimai‘s fans, by releasing the lyrical video of the first single from the film.
Titled “Naanga Vera Maari”, the song is peppy and high-octane, with lively beats that are catchy and addictive. The song immediately grabs attention, making you want to get up and do an energetic groove to it. The upbeat number has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Anurag Kulkarni. The lyrics have been written by the super-skilled Vignesh Shivan.
Valimai has been directed by H Vinoth, and stars Thala Ajith in the lead role of a CBI officer, Eshwar Murthy IPS. Actor Kartikeya Gummakonda is playing the antagonist against Ajith Kumar’s character. Valimai is a high-octane spy thriller, and is apparently set in the backdrop of the car-racing world. The film also stars Huma Qureshi, Pearle Maaney, Yogi Babu, veteran actress Sumithra, among others.
Valimai is Ajith Kumar’s second collaboration with Boney Kapoor, after the 2019 film, “Nerkonda Paarvai”, a remake of the Hindi film “Pink”. Prolific cinematographer Nirav Shah is the Director of Photography of Valimai.
