South Star Ajith Kumar‘s much anticipated film ‘Valimai‘ is all set to release in January 2022 on the occasion of Pongal. After much requests from fans for an official update regarding the film, the makers finally released a glimpse- a sneak peak of sorts, earlier this evening. With uncontrollable buzz surrounding the film, #ValimaiGlimpse has been trending repeatedly ever since its announcement and the excitement has all been worth it! As promised, the ‘Valimai’ glimpse shows us a sneak peak of all the action there is to follow and it looks as magnificent as ever!
Right from Ajith’s entry scene to his punchlines, the glimpse looks everything like fans are expecting the film to be. With some whistle-worthy dialogues and an amazing background score, the glimpse features some daredevil bike stunts to keep viewers at the edge of their seats. The glimpse also shows antagonist Karthikeya and the surprise element, actress Bani J as his girlfriend perhaps. The face-off between hero and villain will surely prove to be one of the most anticipated highlights of ‘Valimai’. In fact, the tremendous buzz for the glimpse itself is commendable. Fans were continuously rooting for the film despite the late arrival of the film’s glimpse. One thing is for sure, the film will be nothing short of a visual treat that the makers are promising.
Written and directed by H Vinoth, ‘Valimai’ stars Ajith in the lead, along with Huma Qureshi and Karthikeya in pivotal roles. Produced by Zee Studios and Boney Kapoor under his banner ‘Bayview Projects’, the movie also stars Pearle Maaney, Bani J, comedian Yogi Babu and veteran actress Sumithra in supporting roles. ‘Valimai’ is a high-octane spy thriller, apparently set in the backdrop of the car-racing world and will see actor Kartikeya as the antagonist. It was also reported that corporate giant Zee Studios had bagged the film’s theatrical rights, satellite rights and post-theatrical digital rights of the Tamil version, though it is yet not clear if the Telugu version is also part of this deal. So ‘Valimai’ will officially stream on digital platform Zee5, post its theatrical run.
