South Star Ajith Kumar‘s much anticipated film ‘Valimai’ has been the talk of the town ever since its announcement. Fans are going crazy waiting for an official update regarding the film. The request for a teaser has been trending for quite some time with the hashtag, #ValimaiTeaser. It was being speculated that just as the previous updates came without prior notice this one too, would follow suit. Although, there seems to be some good news so fans can rejoice and prepare to break some records. According to reports, the teaser of ‘Valimai’ is expected to release next week. It is also being said that a behind-the-scenes or making-of-the-movie clip may be released before the teaser. Regardless, fans are surely in for a treat the following week.
Written and directed by H Vinoth, ‘Valimai‘ stars Ajith in the lead, along with Huma Qureshi and Kartikeya in pivotal roles. Produced by Zee Studios and Boney Kapoor under his banner ‘Bayview Projects’, the movie also stars Pearle Maaney, comedian Yogi Babu and veteran actress Sumithra. ‘Valimai’ is a high-octane spy thriller, apparently set in the backdrop of the car-racing world and will see actor Kartikeya as the antagonist. The final schedule in Russia was a much-talked-about one, being filled with some extensive action sequences and bike stunts.
Incidentally, ‘Valimai’ is Ajith’s second collaboration with producer Boney Kapoor, after 2019’s ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’, (also directed by Vinoth) a remake of the hit Bollywood film ‘Pink’, headlined by Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu. Ajith is confident that ‘Valimai’ will be a great festive treat for fans and wants to release the film for Diwali this year. The makers too had earlier planned to do so, but could be in two minds now, considering two big releases, Rajnikanth’s ‘Annaatthe’ and Silambarasan’s ‘Maanadu’ have already locked dates for Diwali on 4th November. Though it is highly likely, that a release date could come unannounced along with the teaser next week.
