Anand L Rai’s romantic drama ‘Atrangi Re’ has finalised it’s release date. And much to the happiness of the fans, the movie will be arriving only in theatres. ‘Atrangi Re‘ had the fans buzzing as soon as it was announced. Firstly was due to the fact that the acclaimed director was collaborating with the hit machine of bollywood – Akshay Kumar. Fans were delighted to see the awaited combo taking shape. The another reason to get excited was that Dhanush too was in the movie! Dhanush has previously worked with ALR on Raanjhanaa and gave us a memorable performance as Kundan.
The movie is set in the heartland of Uttar Pradesh and also stars Sara Ali Khan in the lead. Reportedly ‘Atrangi Re’ is going to be a typical ALR movie with native humour and emotions. Since last year, the shooting was in process. Several pictures from the sets of the movie were shared by the actors. The shoot went through a lot of ups and downs due to the pandemic, but it is finally completed and is in the post production stage.
Today, trade analyst Taran Adarsh annouced that the makers of Atrangi Re have finalized the release date of the movie. Atrangi Re will be arriving theatrically on 6th August 2021!
Talking about the movie, it is written by Himanshu Sharma who has previously worked with Rai on numerous occasions. According to sources, Sara Ali Khan will be playing the role of Dhanush’s wife who eventually falls for this man with carefree character which will be played by Akshay Kumar.
Fans of Akshay Kumar are having a field day today as his espionage thriller movie Bell Bottom’s release date was also announced in the morning.
