We all know that Akshay Kumar is going through a really bad phase in his career. It is not something new as there is no star who has never seen a low in his/her career. If it is happening with Akshay Kumar then it is just something to speculate about rather than troll about.
We all know that Stree 2 is a huge deal. The film is tracking to earn around 50 crores on the first day itself. The legacy of the first part combined with a favourable trailer added a lot to the charm of the second part.
With a clash of three big films, Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein were bound to be affected. The share of the two films combined does not come close to what Stree 2 is getting.
Regardless, let’s tell you the theatre share. In important zones like NCR and Mumbai, Akshay Kumar is getting the lowest number of shows after he became The Akshay Kumar. It is almost 1/3rd of Stree 2.
This is a matter of serious contemplation for the kind of films Akshay Kumar is doing these days. It is simply a fiasco, an utter failure to understand what the audiences truly want.
Maybe a break would do better than doing a 9 to 5 acting job.
