Akshay Kumar’s ‘Ram Setu’ has finally got its Prime Video release date and subscribers won’t have to rent it out now. Helmed by Abhishek Sharma, ‘Ram Setu’ will come to Prime Video in just a couple of days (keep reading for the exact date).
‘Ram Setu’ follows an atheist archaeologist turned believer who must race against time to prove the true existence of the legendary Ram Setu before evil forces destroy the pillar of India’s heritage. Touted to be an action adventure ‘Ram Setu’ promises to have a strong serving of twists and turns.
The film was much talked about on the internet post its theatrical release but the word of mouth did not reflect in the box office numbers. While ‘Ram Setu’ has been there for rent on Prime Video for some time, this time it will be the true litmus test for the film on OTT. That’s because digital audience, which has already paid the subscription fee, rarely believes in renting out a film that it knows will be available to stream later.
Written and directed by Abhishek Sharma, ‘Ram Setu’ stars Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandes, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Satyadev Kancharana among others.
Aruna Bhatia for Cape of Good Films, Vikram Malhotra for Abundantia Entertainment, Amazon Prime Video and Subaskaran, Mahaveer Jain and Aashish Singh for Lyca Productions have produced ’Ram Setu’. Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi serves as the creative producer for the film.
‘Ram Setu’ will start streaming in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu for all subscribers on Prime Video from 23rd December, 2022.
