Gifted Indian actress Alia Bhatt, who is fresh off the heels after her critically acclaimed performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and S.S. Rajamouli’s blockbuster movie ‘RRR’, is all geared up for her first ever Hollywood film ‘Heart of Stone’. The ‘Raazi’ actress has revealed through an Instagram post that she is on her way to begin filming for the much-awaited Netflix spy film ‘Heart of Stone’. She is reportedly heading to the UK for an extensive shooting schedule which is expected to go on until August.
In the film, Alia Bhatt will be sharing screen space with the globally renowned Israeli actress Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman, Red Notice). Moreover, the film will also feature Jamie Dornan, who is known for his roles in ‘Belfast’, ‘The Fall’, and ‘The Tourist’. Gal Gadot would be essaying the role of a deadly intelligence operative named Rachel Stone.
Although the film’s plot and the precise character details for Alia Bhatt are currently being kept under the wraps, it was previously revealed that Tom Harper is helming the high-profile Netflix film. His earlier directorial credits include ‘Misfits’, ‘Peaky Blinders’, ‘The Son’, and ‘Electric Dreams’, amongst others.
Besides ‘Heart of Stone’, Alia Bhatt’s shooting schedule is jam packed for the year. The Filmfare award-winning actress’s forthcoming acting projects include ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ co-starring Ranveer Singh, Ayan Mukherjee’s superhero movie ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’ co-starring Ranbir Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar’s road film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Baiju Bawra’, amongst others.
