Every month, a host of new titles are added to the Netflix library around the world. But a huge number of titles also leave Netflix every month. This happens because Netflix doesn’t own the entire contents of its library. Some of the popular titles – both films and series – are licenced from their parent companies for a specific period of time. Sometimes Netflix renews the licence for a title. But most of the times, it doesn’t. Which means that the title leaves Netflix to return to its owner.
Different countries have different titles in their Netflix libraries. At present, Netflix India has a total of 5842 titles, out of which 3674 are movies titles, while 2168 are series.
Check out what’s leaving Netflix tomorrow, and in April. Leaving soon are all the Fast And Furious movies; Manoj Bajpayee and Adarsh Gourav’s Rukh; several popular films such as The Departed, Million Dollar Baby, Indecent Proposal; the entire slate of DreamWorks films; sci-fi thriller 12 Monkeys; and several Korean dramas. Watch your preferred ones while there’s still time and they’re still available on Netflix India.
