You are an ardent K-Drama fan if you’re reading this write-up. In that case its quite obvious that you would know how popular is K-Drama ‘The Penthouse‘. This SBS original is so popular that it got renewed twice to have around 48 episodes over three seasons, which is a rarity for korean TV dramas. Much to the luck of Indian K-Drama fans, the show is finally coming to Netflix on 30th April.
Directed by Joo Dong-min and written by Kim Soon-ok, the story follows real estate and education war in an extremely competitive and cut-throat corporate climate. It depicts the solidarity and revenge of women who turned to evilness to protect themselves and their children. The show has revenge, drama, crime, thriller, mystery, politics and everything rolled into one. However the show was critiqued for its season three ending despite still being one of the most watched Korean dramas of all time.
Indian fans of the show can re-watch it now that it’s going to be on Netflix and others can as well find their hot new obsession. Mark your calendars and set your alarms.
