All That’s Coming To Netflix India This Week!

Here we are starting a new week and it’s time to get your weekly dose of Netflix update. With a number of titles lined up for the week, the Halloween theme carries on this week too. Whole for us Indians the most awaited one amongst this week’s list is Mira Nair’s BBC show ‘A Suitable Boy’ starring Ishaan Khatter, Tabu, Tanya Maniktala. Let’s see what we have for this week on Netflix India from 19th October to 25th October 2020.

Monday (19th October):

Unsolved Mysteries (Volume 2) (2020)
A documentary about the unsolved perplexing real cases involving shocking murders, disappearances and paranormal encounters. This volume has a ghost story lined up.

Heritages (2014) –
Lebanese documentary on five generations fleeing from wars is about a director who was forced out of his country three times and how he traces his roots and analyzes key moments of the nation’s history.

Little Wars (1982) –
A French-Lebanese war drama follows Talal whose father has been abducted and his mother asks him to handle the feudal heritage. The story also follows Soraya who is drawn to two men – photographer Nabil and Talal.

Out of Life (1991) –
French war movie about a French photographer captured and held hostage in Beirut who refuses to yield his dignity despite being brainwashed and tortured by his captors.

Whispers (1980) –
Lebanese documentary about a poet who takes a cross-country road trip looking for glimmers of hope after her home was devastated by war.

Tuesday (20th October):

The Magic School Bus Rides Again The Frizz Connection (2020)
A Netflix special kids show where the lightning splits a magic school bus into three parts and into different parts of the world with different versions of Ms. Frizzle on each bus.

Wednesday (21st October)

Rebecca (2020)
A psychological mystery Netflix film where after falling in love and marrying a wealthy widower, the naive bride gets haunted by his late wife at his family estate.

My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman (Season 3) (2019)
This time David Letterman will be seen in conversation with Dave Chappelle, Kim Kardashian West, Lizzo and Robert Downey Jr.

Brave Blue World: Racing To Solve Our Water Crisis (2020)
A documentary about science and nature that explores energy generation, reuse, and new innovations across five continents and building a future for sustainable water.

Assassination Nation (2018)
After a cyber-attack exposes the secrets of their town, a high school senior Lily and her three friends find themselves in a fight for their lives against an armed mob amidst all the violence.

Enemigo Intimo (Season 2) (2018)
Siblings separated as children who no longer recognize each other are pitted against each other in a war involving drugs, crime, and betrayal.

Thursday (22nd October):

You Me Her (Season 5) (2019) –
An emotional romantic Netflix series where Izzy returns to Portland and finds that a lot’s changed but her relationship with Emma and Jack is as complicated as ever.

The Alienist (Season 2) (2018) –
In this new season, Sara now has her own detective agency where she is working on the case of the kidnap of a Spanish diplomat’s infant daughter.

Cadaver (2020) –
Cadaver is a Norwegian psychological horror film that puts humanity to the test. Set in a post-nuclear disaster hungry world it follows a family who goes to a strange hotel which offers them free meals and shows. But things take a drastic turn when members of the audience start vanishing.

Bending The Arc (2017) –
An inspirational documentary that follows a group of ambitious advocates whose mission to save lives in Haiti turns into a global fight for health care and justice.

Exes Baggage (2018) –
A Philippine romantic drama where a former couple gets back together and try to heal the wounds of the past and in the process get reacquainted with the pains of love.

The Hows Of Us (2018) –
A young couple in love faces difficulties of a long-distance relationship as they try to live their dreams.

Friday (23rd October):

A Suitable Boy (2020) –
A coming-of-age romantic drama set in post-partition north India and based on 1993 novel of the same name by Vikram Seth. The story revolves around Lata, a young modern college student who resists the traditional arranged marriage set-up; and Maan, a politician’s son who has a transgressive affair.

The Queen’s Gambit (Season 1) (2020) –
A Netflix series set in the 1950s that follows a young girl in an orphanage in Kentucky and how she discovers her talent of chess while struggling with addiction.

Over The Moon (2020) –
An animated musical by legendary animator Glen Keane where a girl builds a rocket ship and meets a mythical moon goddess.

Barbarians (Season 1) (2020) –
A Netflix epic action-drama series that follows a Roman officer and his conflict about his allegiance between the mighty empire that raised him and his own tribal people.

The Purge: Anarchy (2014) –
An action horror where the government allows one night yearly where one can commit any crime without fear of punishment.

Move (Season 1) (2020) –
A documentary series where brilliant dancers and choreographers from around the world are shaping the art of movement.

Out Of Sight (1998) –
Starring George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez, this heist movie is a thriller romantic comedy by Steven Soderbergh.

Dr. Romantic (Season 2) (2016) –
A Netflix series where a famous surgeon with the nickname of “Hand of God” suddenly disappears and resurfaces as “Teacher Kim” in a small hospital to guide young doctors.

Doctor John (Season 1) (2019) –
A series where two anesthetists work together to find the cause of mysterious pain their patients suffer.

Neighbors (2014) –
Starring Zach Efron the story of Neighbors follows a couple who comes into conflict with a fraternity that has recently moved in next door, which leads them into an all-out war.

VIP (Season 1) (2019) –
Korean drama where staff in charge of catering to the desires of the department store’s top clientele try to keep their not-so-luxurious personal lives afloat.

Hot Stove League (Season 1) (2019) –
This sports drama series is about how during the off-season, a professional baseball team that ranks last in the league hires an unconventional coach who pushes the team to the top.

Flipper (1996) –
A feel-good kids movie that follows young teen Sandy who resents spending summer with his fisherman uncle in Florida, but changes his mind when friendly dolphin ‘Flipper’ enters his life.

Perdida (Season 1) (2020) –
A thriller Netflix series where Antonio, in pursuit of the man who kidnapped his daughter years ago, gets himself arrested in order to go to Colombia’s worst prison, La Brecha.
