Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa – The Rise’ first single is out now in all five languages and to say that Devi Sri Prasad aka DSP has once again created magic with his music wouldn’t be an understatement. Couple it up with Alllu Arjun’s smashing screen presence, the songs reaches a whole together new level.
Titled as ‘Daakko Daakko Meka’ in Telugu, ‘Odu Odu Aadu’ in Tamil, ‘Odu Odu Aade’ in Malayalam, ‘Jokke Jokke Meke’ in Kannada and ‘Jaago Jaago Bakre’ in Hindi; the song is in the form of a story with the theme of survival of the fittest or in general the law of nature and how it connects one and all.
The music video of ‘Pushpa’s first single is a mix of animation and real life sequences. What garners the maximum attention is the hook step of the song done on the beats of the ah..ah..ah portion of the chorus. Allu Arjun has just nailed the style and expression while doing the step that looks somewhat inspired from the signature step of Master’s ‘Vaathi Coming’ song.
Throughout the song Allu Arjun is seen deep in the character. The entire song is filmed on a massive scale with a lot going around. It takes up the theme of the film set in forests and smuggling of wood and plays around with it as seen in the prominent use of axe and jungle in the video. This first single has further increased the expectations from the already highly anticipated ‘Pushpa’.
Vishal Dadlani (Hindi), Vijay Prakash (Kannada), Rahul Nambiar (Malayalam), Shivam (Telugu) and Benny Dayal (Tamil) have lend their voice for the composition by DSP. ‘Pushpa’ is the tenth film where director Sukumar is collaborating with DSP and history is proof that the combo of these two masters of their fields has been nothing less than blockbuster.
‘Pushpa – The Rise’ is first of the two parts of the action-thriller film starring Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. Its story is based on red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of the Rayalseema region of Andhra Pradesh.
Written and directed by Sukumar, the much anticipated film ‘Pushpa’ is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers along with Muttamsetty Media. ‘Pushpa – The Rise’ is scheduled to release in theatres this Christmas.
