The most-awaited update on Pushpa in Hindi is here. The Hindi-dubbed version of Pushpa: The Rise will arrive on OTT, on Prime Video on 14th January. The Hindi version of the film will premiere on OTT 4 weeks after its theatrical release. The Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam And Kannada versions hit OTT one week earlier, on 7th January, merely three weeks after its release in the theatres. Prime Video made the announcement this afternoon, ending days of speculation regarding the OTT release of Pushpa in Hindi.
Allu Arjun‘s Pushpa: The Rise has proved to be a blockbuster both in the theatres as well as on OTT. The crime and action drama has earned upwards of ₹350 Crores at the worldwide box office. Pushpa released on Prime Video three weeks after its theatrical release, and became the most-watched film on OTT too. Social media is full of praises and rave reviews for Pushpa, posted by celebrities and common folk who watched the film on Prime Video over the weekend.
There had been lots of speculation on social media about the release of Pushpa in Hindi. Some people said that the Hindi version of Pushpa will release on the YouTube channel of Goldmine Films, the film exhibition company that holds the rights to Pushpa in Hindi. Others said that the Hindi version of Pushpa will release on Netflix. Now that Prime Video has announced the premiere date for Pushpa in Hindi, all speculation can be laid to rest.
Interestingly, actor Shreyas Talpade has dubbed for Allu Arjun’s Pushparaj in the Hindi version of the film. Pushpa: The Rise Part 1 is written and directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media. The film stars Allu Arjun in the titular role along with Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles. Pushpa: The Rise- Part 1 chronicles the fight of good against evil in a fast-paced, gripping narrative as the police crackdown on the red sandalwood smuggling empire that is rampant in these parts. The fast-paced, powerful, and thought-provoking narrative pulls the viewers into a vortex where there is no right or wrong, and there are no bad men—only heroes in different hues of gray.
