‘His Storyy’ is the latest show announced by Alt Balaji in collaboration with Zee5, and it is another show that tackles the norms that society has against people with different sexual orientations. Alt Balaji garnered a lot of praise for its recent series ‘The married Woman,’ which talked about two women who fall for each other in the midst of a national emergency and political turmoil in the nation.
‘His Storyy’ is the story of Kunal, who seems to be the epitome of the perfect personality. He is a good husband, a patient father, and more than anything, a compassionate man and a good friend who is always there when you need him. Apart from all of this, he is also a successful businessman who has amassed a decent amount of wealth to give his family a comfortable life.
Behind all of these seemingly good qualities lies a hidden truth that he has kept from the world for so long. He has kept his homosexuality under wraps, and this series takes us on a journey of his coming out in the open and the kind of issues he has to face because of it.
‘His Storyy‘ has Satyadeep Mishra and Mrinal Dutt in lead roles. Priya Mani Raj and Nitin Bhatia play the role of the supporting cast, among others. ‘His Story’ is directed by Suparn Verma. The OTT platforms have given filmmakers the liberty to come out and create such stories that can broaden our horizons and have an impact on society.
‘His Story’ will premiere on Alt Balaji on 25th April.
