The Tamil industry has not really been able to evolve itself in one aspect of the OTT deal. All the films, no matter how big of a success it may be, arrive on the OTT platforms within just 28 days. Take the case of Vijay’s The Greatest of All Time. The movie was doing fairly well at the box office when it arrived on OTT.
But, it will be a different case for Amaran. You see, the entire media was talking about Diwali in a binary sense with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again.
Both of them did really well at the box office. But the actual champion is undoubtedly Amaran from the Tamil industry.
The movie starring Shivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles is doing phenomenally well at the box office. The movie is showing no signs of fatigue and that is the reason its OTT release will be altered.
Amaran is not going to be released on the November 28th date on Netflix India. If reports are to be believed then the release date on Netflix India has been pushed by a week or even more.
If current talks are to be believed then the movie is considering December 11th as the release date. So, it is a really great thing for the Kollywood industry. Let’s hope that more and more films do great job at the Box Office.
