Nothing seems to stop Sivakarthikeyan’s Action thriller Amaran at the box office as the film continues to have a splendid run it’s fourth week at the box office.
It has already crossed the 200 crore mark and has been getting positive word of mouth each week. With multiple re-releases and new regional releases in the last two weeks, Amaran seems to have a strong hold despite this competition.
Kanguva was seen as a major threat for the Sivakarthikeyan’s starrer but as it turned out to be a stale affair at the box office, Amaran seemed to bounce back and reach the 200 crore club in no time.
With so much success at the box office, it is not slowing down when it comes to pre-booking sales as it has become the top-selling film of 2024 in terms of bookings through BookMyShow.
The film has already surpassed Thalapathy Vijay’s GOAT in terms of advanced booking sales which came out earlier this year.
As the film continues its dominant run, the film is set to cross 150 crores in the Tamil Nadu box office which will let the film hang with top-tier films like PS1, Vikram, Jailer, Leo and GOAT. Only time will tell how the film will turn out to be in the time that remains before any huge release at the box office.
