Amazon MX Player has dropped the trailer for its upcoming original series ‘Loot Kaand’ where a small bank robbery goes horribly wrong landing the two siblings into a dangerous trap. Helmed by Ruchir Arun, ‘Loot Kaand’ will start streaming on Amazon MX Player on 20th March, 2025.
After their father dies in a road accident post taking a bank loan, Latika and Palash face hurdles making ends meet. While Latika works hard to earn money, Palash has a whole different way to deal with their situation. But when hard work doesn’t seem to pay off, Latika too gets in on Palash’s plan.
They attempt a seemingly harmless petty cash robbery at a local bank but little did they know it would thrust them into a dangerous web of crime and corruption. They get their hands on a huge stock of old guns dropped during the arms drop in 1995.
What begins as a quick fix spirals out of control, entangling them with ruthless forces and long-buried secrets tied to the infamous Purulia arms drop. As the stakes rise, they must navigate a world where nothing is as it seems, and survival is anything but certain.
Directed by Ruchir Arun who has co-written the screenplay with Aman Mannan and Ritu Shri, ‘Loot Kaand’ stars Tanya Maniktala (‘Kill’, ‘A Suitable Boy’), Gyanendra Tripathi (‘Half CA’, ‘Raat Akeli Hai’) and Sahil Mehta (‘Farrey’, ‘Tabbar’, ‘Raksha Bandhan’) in prominent roles. Raghav Gupta is the producer for the show.
A joint production by Drishyam Films and N2O Films, ‘Loot Kaand’ will start streaming only on Amazon MX Player on 20th March, 2025.
