Bandish Bandits, the latest Indian Original web series from Amazon Prime Video, is slated to premiere on the streaming platform on 4th August. To promote the series and its spell-binding music, the streamer has planned a virtual Bandish Bandits concert for music lovers and viewers alike.
The virtual Bandish Bandits concert will take place on the official YouTube channel and Facebook page of Amazon Prime Video, on 5th August. The concert will feature musical stalwarts Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa, the musical trio popularly known as Shankar Ehsaan Loy. They’ve composed the music for Bandish Bandits.
Also participating in the virtual concert will be Armaan Malik, Jonita Gandhi, Shivam Mahadevan, Mame Khan, Ravi Mishra, Pratibha Singh Baghel and Prateek Kuhad, who’ve crooned the songs of Bandish Bandits. The original soundtrack of the series has been widely appreciated by listeners, for its soulful music, mellifluous singing and uplifting lyrics.
Bandish Bandits is the love story of a classical singer Radhe (Ritwik Bhowmik), and an upcoming pop singer Tamanna (Shreya Chaudhry), set in the backdrop of music. The two are polar opposites, and yet drawn to each other. They decide to embark on a relationship to test the waters, and see whether they can take it to the long haul.
The series also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Atul Kulkarni, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Sheeba Chaddha and Rajesh Tailang. Bandish Bandits has been produced by Amritpal Singh Bindra, directed by Anand Tiwari, and created by Bindra and Tiwari.
Bandish Bandits premieres on Amazon Prime Video on 4th August.
