Amazon Prime Video Drops Release Date For Much Awaited “Mumbai Diaries 26/11”

Amazon Prime Video has been up on its game with more and more films and not to mention intense Amazon original series. The streaming platform has been acquiring rights for more and more movies and also has been ahead in content creation with its unique stories. We all have witnessed Prime Video’s hype and magic when it came to series like Mirzapur, The Family Man, Paatal Lok, Made In Heaven, and a lot more. Amazon Prime Video is constantly on the lookout for brilliant new stories that will engage people and the next one from the streaming platforms is one such movie that is sure to make viewers be on the edge of their seats for the entire duration.

Amazon Prime Video’s “Mumbai Diaries 26/11” is the one we are talking about. Prime Video, recently dropped the release date for the exciting new series and it is now slated to release on the 9th of September, 2021. Last year, when the teaser dropped, it was announced that the show would be released in March, but things didn’t go quite as planned and we didn’t see any news regarding that, after it. Now finally after almost 9 months of teaser drop, we have a date in hand.

As for the story, “Mumbai Diaries 26/11” is an intense medical drama that will take a look into the lives of doctors, a section of frontline workers, who aren’t given much attention when it comes to the terror attacks. It’s been 12 years seen the ghastly attacks that shook the city of Mumbai and entire India. “Mumbai Diaries” will show how doctors and medical workers, late at night, started getting back to work, saving the lives of those who were harmed in the terror attacks. It looks like a through and through medical drama that will show how that one night changed the lives of these frontline workers.

Mumbai Diaries 26/11 will focus on how the doctors had to make decisions within seconds because they were the ones in charge of saving the lives of many. The show stars Mohit Raina who looks like the man in charge of everything. He will be supported by Konkona Sen Sharma, Shreya Dhanwantary, Tina Desai, who are slated to essay really crucial roles. As for the series, it is produced by Emmay Entertainments and Nikkhil Advani and Nikhil Gonsalves, are the ones donning the directors’ hats.

It would be interesting to see how different “Mumbai Diaries 26/11” will be because, for years, many films and series were made about this harrowing incident. Most of the time, it was the police, army, commandos, and even the terrorists themselves. This shall be a unique one to watch as viewers will get to know how the medical teams worked tirelessly to rescue the lives of the people that are affected by the blasts and shooting.
