Amazon Prime Video is renewing the web series Bosch with two more spin-offs and there will be a second season to ‘Bosch: Legacy’ too. Fans are excited now that they will be able to explore the world of Bosch and his colleagues with new thrilling stories.
The first season of Bosch tells the story of a detective in LAPD, Harry Bosch who is investigating the murder of a young boy and gets accused of killing a serial killer in the meantime. There are a total of seven seasons. The original series starred Titus Welliver and Jamie Hector in the lead roles and had other actors like Amy Aquino, Lance Reddick, Annie Wersching, Sarah Clarke, Jason Gedrick, Madison Lintz and Jeri Ryan in other important roles.
There will be soon two spin-off series on the two important characters J. Edgar and Renee Ballard. The series is not given a name yet. These will be the the third and fourth projects in the expansion of the Bosch franchise by Amazon. Amazon’s free ad supported television channel Freevee will also have a part in the expansion of the franchise. There will be a second season of another spin-off named ‘Bosch: Legacy’ that will be premiereing on Freevee.
Bosch: Legacy premiered on the 6th of May in 2022 and it starred Titus himself in the role of Harry Bosch and actors like Mimi Rogers, Lintz reprised their roles. There were ten episodes of 40 to 50 minutes each and the show was appreciated by fans. So now, there will be a second season to it.
