Navratri begins today and Prime Video saw a perfect opportunity to do a big and loud promotion. The streaming giant is known for slothy marketing strategy for their originals but from the last few weeks, they are indeed doing phenomenal. Mind you it all started after The Rings Of Power started streaming.
So, we all know that Navratri calls for Garba and it can’t be completed without the Sanedo Sanedo song. Thus, Prime Video released their version of the song.
But, what’s the big deal about it?
The song is not merely a new version of the song. In fact, it is a promotional video that simply talks about their original series. If you remember then the flagship shows of Prime Video such as The Family Man, Mirzapur is coming up with new seasons. There are a lot of references to the original shows by Prime Video in the lyrics of the song.
Binged also reported that Varun Dhawan is promoting the Prime Video series through a chain of ads.
If we connect these dots then we come to only one conclusion. Storms are coming in the Indian OTT space. They are most certainly indicating an update on the big shows of Prime Video which are undoubtedly one of the biggest shows in the whole India.
Actually, it is an ad campaign called #PrimeBae, or Prime Before Anyone Else. In this campaign, Varun Dhawan will get exclusive updates from various series of Prime Video and he will also share it with the audience.
